Very proud!

I realise we are 2-3 and am not advocating any parades or mass backslappin just yet but...

I am really proud of the character show by the boys yesterday. The 29th of April 07 had the potential to be one of the darkest days ever for the FFC.

With Farmer's indiscrection, our poor 1-3 start to the season, and it being a milestone game for our "favourite son", a poor performance would have caused the entire football community, most Dockers supporters, and perhaps even the players themselves to seriously question the character of the club. A capitulation yesterday would have been nothing short of a disaster.

Instead, the players rallied, held their ground, and came away with one of our grittiest ever wins. It was a win for Shauny Mac with a performance that typified the way he plays the game. It wasn't a pretty win but we got there in the end through pure endurance and desperation.

Yesterday was only worth four points, but we had to face our demons to get it. I think the players realised yesterday that they are made of stronger stuff than they used to be.

It could have been our darkest day, but I feel it will come to be viewed as one of our clubs defining moments.

I am one happy, and proud, Dockers supporter today

I know where you're coming from, though. I'm a bit like that myself, but I've decided to say "Stuff that, we're the real deal" for once.

The disappointment if we crash will be the same regardless of whether I reckon we're bad or good, so I'm changing tack and looking at all the positives when they spring up, and the last couple of years there have been more positives than negatives.

Damn right I was proud after this game. Amazing win and how big was the smile on Macca's face after the game.

PS, bloody lions will tear us a new one next weekend

Was a great win and i'm very happy. Unfortunately I couldn't make the game as I had a big staurday night and I was really crook on sunday.

Note to self: Tequila is not your friend.

Freo certainly aren't the team to support if you have a heart condition

It was a great win.... but the tension in the last 2 minutes nearly caused my jugular vein to explode. Hoefully, we can defeat the Lions, and that it wont be a tense thriller, a good win by a decent margin.

Brisbane will be tough, but I am hopeful that the Adelaide game is the catalyst for a successful finals campaign.

If we don't win next weekend, and lets face it, this is the toughest road trip in the AFL.

Then I am sure that the Lions will know on Monday that they have been in a real contest.

We needed a spur last season and I reckon that Sunday was ours for this year!

no two ways about it we must win this clash to get us closer to the top eight and to show that we are a team to be reckoned with. i agree that its still too early to get overly confident but there is a glimmer of hope at the moment and i feel thatthe boys understand that this is a great challenge and im sure that they will do them and hopefully us proud
