There is no such thing.

Unlike the SANFL and WAFL, AFL listed players aren't 'drafted' by VFL clubs, due to the alignments.

The VFL doesnt draft from metro/country comps, they just get invited to training.

How do they decide who to recruit then?? Besides the ex afl listed players there will also be 18/19 years olds from the TAC cup that didn't get drafted or rookied, how do the clubs choose out of those players?

They decide on who to recruit based on the clubs talent scouts, and those that invite themselves along to training and impress the coaching staff.

Most clubs will have as many as (sometimes more) than 100 players train over summer. They invite people that talent scouts/recruiters think can make it at VFL level, and kids wanting to try their luck at the VFL also come down for a run.

Prior to the commencement of the season I think (someone can correct me on this) the list needs to be trimmed down twice prior to the start of the season. So in the first few weeks of practice matches after Summer, a lot of possibles play in the intra-club and first couple of games.
