Okay reading a report on Demonology of someone at the game.
Up until three-quarter time Watts had a stat-line of 8 kicks, 7 marks and 7 handballs with 1 behind.

From what I've gathered on Demonology, Watts finished with 13 kicks, 9 handballs and 7 marks.
Good to see those kind of figures, but I'd personally rather see less touches and more goals!!! But still pleasing.

Demonland reported that he played on the wing all game which could be why he has a decent amount of possies and no goals.

Even at AFL level Watts showed enough touches of class around half forward with the ball last year. It's a bit rediculous to expect him to be taking big marks and kicking bags at Casey, especially if he's played up the ground, but what I want to hear is that he's increased his intensity for the ball, the contest and the chase. Not saying he was soft, but he looked like a school boy. If he has done that then he'll get a spot on a HFF pretty quickly. I think the club just have to keep Watts heading in the right direction as a player because I'm sure he's got the talent. A fit and stronger body and a burning desire to prove himself should make for some good improvement this year.
As a TMac fan I'm very happy to see that, although I know he can polarise people watching the same game. He's up against it with Joel Mac, Bruce, Grimes, Rivers and Garland all capable of playing HBF on mid sized players but I hope he keeps putting his name up there.
Stockdale and MacReadie are serial offenders in the Casey Bests are they not? Nicholls looks a good get, or as good as you can get from the pies.

I'm out in Mt.Evelyn (outer, outer, eastern suburbs), and I swear to god it was absolutely pissin down earlier. It's all sun now though, but if that did hit the G it might pretty greasy today.

Anyway... It looks as if it is going to be wet (or at least bloody cold) so they may stick with the side as selected, unless they drop a tall in Warnock knowing Garland can play tall if required.

Saw the game last night. Watts was very good. No big pack marks or goals, but was playing as a high half forward to leave room for Miller & Martin. His WORK RATE was excellent. Great chases, attack on the football. Very good mover, especially with the football. Composed. Good signs.

Martin needs to stay there and put in a few good goalkicking performances before we bring him back. Give them kid some confidence as a forward.

Did Scott Simpson play for Casey? if so how did he look?
Not sure sorry. Was really focused on the Melbourne listed players and didn't have a record.
