couldnt give an answer lol. both will be a dominating duo. like someone said before if griffo has a good season we will be laughing. it will remind of the days of having ottens, stafford and richo

Wait, what? Surely not.

Buddy is a once in a lifetime player. As much as you might love JR and Vicks, as I do, Buddy has them covered and it would take a miracle for either of them to ever go past him.

I'm thinking in terms of team context. Neither JR nor TV will have the freakish abilities of Buddy, but both be better rounded players. If TV gets as many shots on goals as Buddy does, he'll be a shoe-in for the Coleman. I do understand that its Buddy abilities that gets him those opportunities as well.

Last I checked - this thread has nothing at all to do with anyone other than Vickery and Reiwoldt. Let's keep it that way :thumbsu:

I voted JR and JR. As much as Vickery showed some really good signs this year... he needs to back it up next season when he is sure to get a lot more attention from the opposition defence.
Jack was getting double/triple teamed week in week out in 2011 and somehow still managed to finish 3rd in the Coleman whilst increasing his score involvements.

Assuming that injuries did hinder Jacks performance to the extent that he couldn't fly for the grabs like he did in 2010... there is no reason not to get excited about his chances of having another dominant season next year. The guy is a freak and when up and about is clearly capable of the impossible.
He is the kind of player which brings fans (not only Tigers) through the turnstiles. I get goosebumps thinking about how good he was in the second half of 2010. He never looked like missing a shot on goal or dropping a grab... and when he did, you knew he was so good on his feet he'd still somehow get a shot on goal.

Here's to continued improvement from both. The Tigers really do need the likes of Griff to step up and be a third option next year. If he can do this, then the continued improvement of Jack and Ty will be all the more possible.

Jack is a similar player to Richo. These type of players are cast from a different player mold than traditional forwards. Unique that he can take a high mark, has plenty of courage running into packs, he can rove a contest and is a smart and quick thinker. Accuracy is excellent, and the highlight of this year was against North (I think) at Etihad, where he marked on the wing, turned on his left side and kicked the ball 65 meters (on the run). He used all his attributes that resulted in a team mate running into an open goal.

What we learnt this year is that Jack can play under duress. If he keeps his temper and emotions in check, he will be as influential as many of the forward we have been blessed with over the last 30 years (Roach and Richo come to mind).

Tyrone will develop into the definition of a "modern day ruckman" - Big, mobile, aggressive and possess a massive engine. He will rest in the forward line and pop up with bags of 4 every few weeks. A really damaging big man that opposition coaches will spend time on in an effort to curtail his influence over ruck contests, and give headaches to the opposition standing next to Jack.

Highlight was his maturity in the Dreamtime Match when he casually walked around a couple of opponents and kicked the sealer. It was Essendon's bigmen that were supposed to dominate.

These two players should be looked at when discussing the future potential at Punt Road. All the talk is about our mids (Cotch, Martin, Foley and Lids).
