The NSW outbreak didn't inconvenience the entire state. I'll take the NSW approach, thanks.

Inconvenience being a massive understatement if you run a small business, have school aged kids or are a casual worker.

"Incovenience" perhaps if you are a single person with a B/S public service job and live in Brunswick.

Any thoughts on whether the outdoor mask mandate will be lifted this week?
Of course not.. the masks arent to stop the spread of covid directly.. they are a reminder to be afraid and take it seriously.

I heard next week you might be able to choose a "COVID will kill you" t-shirt as an alternative.

I took Jeroen's advice today. Someone sneezed at Coles so I called the cops.

Great point. Definitely didn't mean to downplay the serious effects it has on people.

Not sure what's sadder--- using hashtags on BigFooty

Or complaining about the education of Victorian students when everything has been done to provide them with a high quality remote learning experience and back on site ASAP despite the current restrictions. The push to place young people back into schools will do more mental health damage to students than a few weeks of remote learning.

Hows that campaigner Jeroen? If you see somebody with a sniffle, remind them to get tested, how about mind your own business?

What’s going on with this Southbank building today and why has it caused such negativity ?

One of the cases they were investigating lives in a Southbank townhouse complex, they have (apparently) locked it down and are testing everyone.

As for causing negativity, well..........people can be kinda pathetic as we have seen in the last year and a half.

That is what has been posted on the Melbourne subreddit, which is usually pretty good - but haven't seen it reported elsewhere.
How lovely that in 2021 people can be held captive in their own homes because of a virus, Victoria, the place to be.
