This year will be my first full season in Melbourne and therefore i am looking at purchasing a Victorian Crows Membership. Does anyone here know a little bit more info about the membership? In particular the following:

  1. As I will more than likely be going alone, are you seated with the same group of people every week?
  2. If so, are the seats decent?
  3. As occassionally I will have friends and family come across for games, is there the ability to purchase match day tickets for those people to sit in the same area?
I know there are a few Melbourne based supporters here, so if you have any thoughts on the membership in general, I would greatly appreciate it.:thumbsu:

Ring the club. They are bad with this kind of stuff. They know sweet FA. 0884406666. :thumbsu:

I did already, the lady i spoke to (who was lovely) wasn't sure and sent me the membership stuff with the usual outline on it.

1. At Telstra Dome we sit in Level 3. You have the option to pay a few extra bucks at the gate each game to upgrade your seat to Level 1 if you really want. At the MCG we're in general admin, so basically pick a seat as long as you're not in the MCC members, opposition cheer squad or those fancy Level 2 seats. There isn't a members area where we all sit together or anything like that.

2. At the Dome I mix it up a bit coz the view on Level 3 at the Dome is very good, but my van Berlo banner is of no use in the top level. You basically have free reign of the G, very flexible seating arrangement so find a spot that you like.

3. Too easy to purchase general admin tickets at both venues. They're almost always in abundance unless we play the Pies at the Dome (which I don't think we do this year).

Contact the AFC in Melbourne I know they have moved from South Yarra to Telstra Dome the info should be on the AFC website.

Standard Victorian AFC membership (off the top of my head) is around $120 so that will get you entry to all games, you can upgrade to Gold memberships think they are around $260 a year.

VC pretty much summed up all the seating arrangements, if we play a lower drawing club such as Kangaroos at TD they will allow GA to sit on level one, other wise against clubs like Collingwood etc you will be up on level three.

I just got my renewal today, and as a previous Boundary Line member was wondering about all those things myself.

As I can now pretty much guarantee I'll go to all matches, I think I'm gonna go the upgrade and get my first ticketed membership:thumbsu:

BTW, It's $140 for adult.
