They won't make the $320K back by racing in South Australia, so you'd expect to see it in Sydney or Melbourne over the autumn or next spring.

Absolute bastard, what is he doing with Mercia?

Clearly doesnt like the Valley

Her only 2 wins have been at the valley. That's not the problem.
I have been following her career as she is a horse I spent some time with at the sales in Adelaide a few years ago. She was never going to be a horse that would get the 2000m IMO. She will make a nice broodmare though.

Elaborate.....
Thought the following would've said it all...
Lindop has said it's the best horse she has ridden
Not really every day they unearth one that good in an SA 2yo race.

I just hope he goes on with it, better he goes in the big smoke the more hope we can have with ours.

Fair call, maybe it's because all OUR good trainers are lured interstate by the money. Can't blame them though, even so, you're not claiming them as yours. ;)

Undoubtedly wasn't too bad a 2yo. Hayes starts many of his good ones over here to get their confidence up with a win.

Anyway, hope it goes over and takes everything out and brings it all back, just as we did with Divine Madonna in the spring and Undoubtedly last season. Not bad for a little state hey?

Why do so many Croweaters have chips on their shoulders?
I really dont give a ******** where a horse comes from as long as it wins when I back it, I think most punters are also of this opinion. Things like 'brings it back' & OUR trainers are truly irrelevant to punters.

Anyway enough of my grandstanding for today, Yes this looks a nice horse at this stage, but so did Murphys Blu Boy.
Lots of water to flow under the bridge......... but I do like Leon Mac & hope it holds up for him.

Only responding to those bagging anything SA. Sure our racing is struggling but we can produce a good one every now and then and our contribution to Australian racing speaks for itself. The eastern staters beat their chests without fail so why on the odd occasion that we do are we labelled with chips on our shoulders?
Agree re Leon Macdonald, seems a good bloke who knows how to produce good ones who go on to the next level and perform.

Fair enough that makes sense, I actually enjoy SA Racing & always have.
I haven't really noticed the Easterners beat their chest, perhaps Im just blind to it all. To be honest I really don't care who wins eg. the Adelaide Cup, as long as it's carrying mine. ;)

I guess the only time I tend to 'barrack' for a horse maybe if it's someone that I may have previously or currently deal with, as in trainers, etc.

Basically, if I don't have a bet on then I'm hoping the south aussie horses have success.
Obviously I love SA racing, I may be biased but it's better than NSW racing. The fields over there are laughable. I know we haven't had big fields lately but that's only because of the glut of meetings in the leadup to xmas.

What's your favourite part? The horrendous quality, the woeful prizemoney, or the disgraceful bookmaker percentages?

Get over yourself.
I'm a punter so why would the prizemoney bother me? The quality is ok on a Saturday, and as for other days, you just need a good knowledge of it and you go ok. I do better on SA racing than anywhere else.
Our horses can mix it with your Saturday metro horses. Have won a bit lately on SA horse that travel to Melbourne. Zipanese and yesterday on Barabba Road.

Our horse was bred in NSW or Qld, purchased in Qld, is mostly owned in Victoria, but is trained out of Lindsay Park and had it's first run in SA. Does that make her a South Australian galloper i wonder?
