Currently with Telstra but sick of paying through the ass. Looking to switch carriers to a new sim only deal.

Can anyone who's with Vodafone give me your thoughts (good or bad) on their coverage and customer service? They are currently offering 15g for $50 month which looks to be good value but don't want to be stuck with them for 12 months if they are shit.

Funnily enough I was in a very similar situation. With Telstra for close to 10 years, mobile phones, internet, foxtel etc. The plan I was on was a 24 month contract with iphone plus blah blah was costing me on average $180 per month (kept going over data). Couldnt get away from telstra quick enough. Anyway my 24 months finally ended and I kept the phone and went to a sim only vodafone pre paid deal ($40 for 10gig etc at the time). Have gone from paying $180 a month to $40 with more than twice the data i had with telstra. Also the pre paid sim is a 35 day rollover so you actually get more than a month. So far no issues with reception, customer service has been great, fast 4G. Give them a go as really for the price you have nothing to lose. But FMD will never go back to telstra, absolute parasites.

Coverage/speed ok but not always great. Woeful out on the suburban boundary where I live. So long as you're more inner should be ok.

Yeah I live inner Melbourne. Signed up for 12 months. 18g for $50 month is pretty good if you ask me. Wish me luck!

Yep inner suburbs and city is fine. In Chelsea the other day I got 100 down and 20 up on speed test.
