Volcano's:
A volcano is an opening, or rupture, in a planet's surface or crust, which allows hot magma, ash and gases to escape from below the surface. The word volcano is derived from the name of Vulcano island off Sicily which in turn, was named after Vulcan, the Roman god of fire.

When they erupt, shit gets hot!! it can do alot of damage. The biggest volcano in the world is Mauna Loa on Hawai'i Big Island. If that erupted it would definatly do some damage. Apparently its slowing giving signs of an eruption in the near future.

Ive always been intrested in volcanos. Only because of the potential meltdowns it can cause. Rumor has it that another eruption is about to occur, i forgot which one though. Maybe we could post stuff of eruptions/meltdowns in here?

As the poster above said; if Yellowstone or Lake Taupo calderas (or Mammoth Mtn, or Lake Toba or any other caldera structure) decide to erupt on a large scale any time soon, human civilisation is in severe trouble.

Mauna Loa is a shield volcano, so if it does erupt it will just send out a lot of lava. Not really all that dangerous and there would be plenty of time to organise evacuations and the like.

Yellowstone is the biggest danger, it's a supervolcano, and if it blows, the US is ****ed.

Does anyone have any further information pertaining to today's volcanic activity?

Shits just got real. i got 2 phone calls earlier, 1st one was from ISP asking for the person who our nets under. (not me) then told me that police have called them asking for out IP adress details or someshit, at this point i was like wtfffff! Then 2nd call was the motherhen (our nets under her name) telling me the same thing as our ISP told her the same thing, and asked me if i had been posting on BF (ISP told her thats why the police were in contact with them).i told her i had not been posting on such a site...

im pretty much freaking out.

And the reason i was FB msging dubs was i sent him a request last night, he replied that he doesnt add anyone from gd then thats when i told him. i was to scared to come back on here...
