3- Aaron Davey Was fantastic today looked assured when he had the footy in his hands his second and third efforts were fantastic.

2- Brock Mclean was his usual creative best I thought this was his best game for the year thought his possesions hurt his opponents.

1- Colin Sylvia finaly seen a glimpse of what this young fella can produce good hard work. just the tip of the ice berg for Col

1- Brad Miller Presented well and faught hard when the ball was in dispute in our forward 50 good return of 3 goals

1- Nathan Jones was more than servicable did a lot of the hard in under work that sometimes goes un noticed

1- John Messen Gave a contest in the centre square and won some hit outs giving Brock and Jonesy first use of the footy

1- Jamie Bennell (Has a massive future at our club was bold and took them on with his run and carry the highlight was his second effort on half forward flank southern stand side where he chased and got a smother inspirational and commited.

1- Michael Newton Was good today provided a target up forward which we had lacked the first three rounds of the season should have ended up with 4 or 5 Goals

1- Brad Green Set the tone when he put his head over the footy and took the hit that he new was going to come well done Greeny

Special mention to all 22 players that took the field for the Melbourne Football Club.

no way does mclean deserve votes...he is slow and his disposals do not hurt the opposition at all...today he did slightly ok because richmond were dismal...but seriously he shouldnt be part of our future, he doesnt have any qualities that make him potentially elite

1 - Meesen, There's a lot of upside in him, made me wonder if he can kick the thing today though...

Edit* If Petterd doesn't win the AFL army award for his effort in the last quarter the thing is rigged. That was inspirational.

1 - Bennell - skills have sharpened since round 1, good spoiler of the footy.
