Killed us in the Ruck, Even in the midfield and our defence bar Wakelin won us the game. McDougall was better than ever and suprised me how far he can kick the sherrin. Defence was tested all night for you guys.

Just back from 10 days in Melbourne, so votes are late.

5. Judd - my brother, who resides in the windy city, said we have THE best player in the land - and who am I to argue!

4. Embley - great game from Embers - back to last year's form

3. Cox - outstanding effort from him -except for the missed goal which was right in front of me

2. Kerr - typical gutsy game

Minus 3000 million votes - the "super stadium" - the coldest night I have ever attended at the footy. Block 25 (where we were sitting) is in front of about 10 gates which are OPEN ALL NIGHT!!A breeze from the south pole was roaring thru them all night.

Collingwood supporters are not so bad! I would take them over Dockers any day. Only saw two drunken yobos in a crowd of about 44,000 so that's pretty good.

One of the Melbourne papers had an article about a guy who has proven that Eddie McChins is biased when calling Collingwood games. He pointed out nine ( I think) instances when McChins said Collingwood had received bad umpiring decisions and ONE occasion when he said the Eagles had received a bad decision. (for those who can remember, it was when Phil was legged right in front of goal and no free kick was paid).
