I wish I had thought of that, I really can't be arsed voting today and I'm in Julie Bishop's electorate so it makes no difference who you vote for as she will shit it in again.

I'm in Christopher Pyne's electorate. Will romp it in but went to vote against him anyway. Driving around and seeing the posters all around the place it seems just about every notorious politician is from SA.

Found it interesting that in the senate the big parties after the usual Family First preference from the Libs and Greens from Labor they were preferencing the "novelty" parties like the motor enthusiasts. Tough work for an independent with no profile to get a gig. Guess the parties think they can control the nuffies from the novelty parties better.

What's the go with mongs obsessing over sausage sizzles this election? Most millennials spend the year hating themselves and their country but as soon as we're anywhere near the global stage, it's all, "US AUSTRALIANS, HEY?! XD STRAYA campaigner". Embarrassing memeshit and pandering.

Probably the same **** crowd who have been obsessing over chicken nuggets the last 12 months.

Disappointing that Corio is such a safe seat (Clifton Springs resident here) as nothing will ever get done. You won't see the same pork-barrelling that's happened in neighbouring Corangamite - a very marginal seat - and so low-income suburbs such as Newcomb, Norlane, Corio will continue to lag behind in terms of health, education, jobs etc. A real shame that politics has become about winning votes in this manner.

Libs were the pick of the bunch for me in the House of Reps despite the Abbott/Turnbull reign. Otherwise it was a choice between Richard Marles (done SFA for the reasons outlined above), crazies such as Rise Up Australia/Socialist Alliance, several one-issue parties (e.g. Bullet Train), and the Greens who are purely concerned with appeasing Labor to win seats.

It's amazing how it keeps on keeping on being a safe Labor seat when you see Corio, Norlane, Whittington etc falling apart having been total shit holes for the last 30 years.

It's been in Labors hands all that time in both federal and state and yet they do nothing to improve it.

Shows what a bunch of dullards Labor voters are when you see them being taken for granted like that and yet still voting for their arse clown party.

I voted Bullet Train, I couldn't even consider the Libs are after their public attacks on small parties and independents. That's getting too close to political cartel speak for my liking.

Who says it's the millenials buying the snags?

Might be that Ricky Muir actually did a decent job as a senator.

Hell of a lot more integrity as a person when compared to the major party stooges and their career politicians.

I live in the Corio electorate and had no idea until a week ago the Libs even had a candidate.......and that's even after voting 3 weeks ago.
Waldo would be easier to find than the Lib candidate.

I've never seen anyone so worked up about a sausage sizzle before. Apart from bay 13 perhaps

Put the kid on her bike, grabbed the wife and walked down to the school to vote, fairly painless but longer queues than the state election two years ago.

Quite interesting that all three of the libs labor and greens had the rise up party candidate at the very bottom of heir preferences on their pamphlets.

I don't think I can remember seeing a bigger white ballot, talk about not fit for purpose with the little voting booths hard to read the whole thing and put the votes down.

I'm in Casey which is a liberal stronghold will be interesting to see if there is any kind of swing, last time anyone else had it was labor in 1983

Frickin hard to read that when it's so big [bloody huge compared to other years] and the booth is so small

Yeah it was a juggling act

If you removed Corio and Norlane from the ward it would probably become a marginal seat.
