Being anti Essendon isn’t one eyed.

It’s about as unbiased as can be.

Essendon were the dominant team most of the game and deserved the win. We carried too many passengers

Did not deserve it in the end, irregardless of the last few minutes.

The game was far too open and we couldn't close down the space enough. A few tackles didn't stick, a few younger guys did not do enough (likewise for a few veterans) and Goldy was pantsed by a d-grade spud.

The less that is said about Stringer, the better.

Ahern was good today. JMac and Hrovat were poor selection moves from Shaw. In fact our game plan was very Scotts-like with the over handball today and lack of tackling pressure. Probably Shaw's worst coaching performance.

Ahern was bog average 12 touches at 50%.
Hrovat was twice the player than Paul, he had 4 goal assists.

Really suprised by how little and how ineffective Ahern was. It seemed like he was better then that when watching the game, but those stats are awful. They can't be ignored.

The game appears to be a microscopic version of our season. We Were gone half way through only to fight back but ultimately trip up on the finish line. Realistically bad kickimg by * really only kept us in the game.

Absolutely baffling selections today. I suspect this game we will have learned the most from the last 6 weeks,

Jmac is a polarising figure and Regardless what you think of him he is not a best 6 defender.

Jed anderson is a beast. And zurhaar and TT going to be massive years to come.

Looks like tagging cunners will become the new norm, gonna have to come up with a plan B here. Maybe send him down into the fwd line for spells.

And ben brown and taz were awesome bookends today.
