When this entire episode began, two members of the media were very quick to jump to the defence of Stephen Dank. One was Sam Newman, the other Graham Cornes, both men desperate to hang onto their long since gone youth, and people being supplied anti-ageing products from Dank.

Sam painted himself into a corner from the beginning. He's too stubborn to ever admit there's a chance he may have been wrong. It's not his style.
