Good all round effort from the Eagles players for easy Perth today

Certainly had their flat track bully on

Cole, nelson, Ellis and Jetta all gave themselves every chance to be selected for next week if a spot opens up

Parting ton, adamson and brophy all continue to develop nicely - liked their games

Lamb had a quiet first quarter but did well after that

Barass is ready to go if called upon

Mcginnity and Lucas were their usual selves

McInnes ok but isn't pushing anybody out

Giles meh

Colledge is a WAFL player at best

Yeah sorry about that. Decided to sit with my Swan Districts brethren and regretted it from pretty much the opening siren - a few of them didn't exactly do the black and white proud.

We have the same sort of supporters in our members area. The more they drink, the more amusing they imagine they are. Almost spoilt a great day at the footy!

These guys arced from the opening bounce and didn't let up all game. Complete pea brains that thought they were about 100x funnier than they actually were

As far as I could tell they weren't drinking - just naturally stupid

Amazingly security did nothing all game (no real issue with that as they weren't hurting anyone) but with a minute to go in the game decided to ask one of them to leave. Like why bother

Seriously well done to the guys who give us the reports on the WAFL.

Those of us who completely struggle to see WC players run around in Royal (seriously WTF, it's blue) and black, are indebted!

Now if we could just get them into something a bit more fetching, maybe red and blue and all would be good in the world (though it is had to top watching Freo games at the moment).

3 for colledge- is he staying forward or rotating in the middle? I always thought he would be a good 3rd tall in the forward line

Since he certainly won't make it as a mid outside the WAFL, might as well play him as a forward for the rest of the year. He "kinda" looked okay when he was playing there in last year's WAFL GF.

We should try and develop
Nelson into are version of Cam Guthrie. I could see him becoming a similar type of player. They should just give him tapes of Guthrie to study and say model your game on him. He's got the toughness, skills, size and you wouldnt say he's slow. He's just the type of player we need IMO.

Not sure where it was but someone posted a similar comment somewhere else over the weekend and it's a fair comparison imo

If Nelson can reach the same sort of level as Guthrie or close to it then he will be doing pretty well
