Well, it's a big thankyou to the Eagles and Dockers from Swannies! We gain Hinkley and East Perth lose Tarrant (potentially). One of the last weeks we will have Naitanui and Yarran, and there's Sweet for the Royals. Others to look out for are Garlett, M McKinlay and Wolfenden whilst the Royals showcase Sampey, Oliver and Macaulay. Should be a good match this one, but my confidence is coming back!

Perth v South Freo, oddly enough I think should be a cracker. Perth have shown some good form in a couple of matches and certainly were good against Swans last week. Heap of local and AFL listed talent on both sides.

West Perth v East Freo. Given the Sharks current form can anyone see them getting up in this one? The Falcons retain Bradley, Campbell and Seaby and the Sharks lose more players to the Eagles and Dockers.

Subi v Peel (Boulder) - could actually be a good match this one with Peel off to a reasonable start this year and welcome Arrowsmith this week, providing a bit more run. Subi, of course are as star studded as usual so you shouldn't see Peel get too close, but Peel, of late, have played alright against the untouchable Subiaco.

Should be another good round and I look forward to seeing Naita in action again!!

Sorry my bad, I was thinking at that stage that we were still getting Hansen!:o Would have made my blood pressure a little better.

Well, what a cracking game of football in the end. The second quarter was quite lacklustre but then EP put their foot on the pedal after half time. Some really good spirit by the Royals, :thumbsu: getting excited about every goal they kicked and running over to congratulate team mates. Got really revved up in the 3 quarter time huddle by Bewick and came out and kicked the first goal of the last. Then, as Swans supporters left during the last quarter and I was praying for a goal, just one goal, not a comeback but a goal. There was glad wrap across Swans goal front until Davis got one from the impossible angle, then the goal that I had so desperately prayed for turned into an avalanche and as a result I am hoarse today!:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Close game!

Subi by 159!

Was actually hoping it would be closer - I have a soft spot for Peel.

Heard that the wind from the storm in the last qtr was so bad that when a boundary ump threw the ball in it blew straight back over his head

Can someone give me info on T.Geappen? Played footy with him in the Cairns AFL. Kid can play. Is he getting a kick over there?

Can the kid play Mick, my oath he can. When I saw him pre-season playing for the mighty black ducks I asked, "who is this guy, what's he do?" Well, he's been very impressive early season for Swans, fast becoming a go to man when we need goals kicked. Plays mainly HF/FP, I think, moves to where the ball is very well and kicks goals for us.

So Mick, in summary, Timmy is going just fine and along with Robinson, from Werribee, is our better performing recruits, IMHO.
