How's Carter going for Souths?

Barrass the best of the Eagles. Solid in defends and clean with the ball.

East Perth overusing the ball and there are a few of our boys doing it. Colledge, Hutchings genuine turnover merchants today so pay no regard to their stats. Joined by a dozen native East Perth players. Moss, Lee, Payne, Hart refuse take risks and missing the easy ones. Moss the west culprit.

East Perth midfield not getting clear possession out of the guts and are hacking the ball forward and getting rebounded against easily. Have no support runners and little capacity to generate space for themselves.

Waterman playing 50/50 forward and midfield. A lot on the outside and not getting amongst it. Not necessarily running to the wrong spots but getting their late or getting caught out due to habitual turnovers. Looks frustrated, a lot of running for zero reward.

Brophy playing well. Disposal has been good but hasn't been able to show much dash. I'd put him on a wing to generate run and overlap.

Lycett has had little impact in the ruck or forward.

Lacklustre game, don't get excited. Hille out bodying Hams the swan diver the sole highlight.

Thanks for the update ER. :)

Woof! Cop that Royals flogs

This is what happens with a disjointed East Perth side with no balance comes up against a cohesive football team.

Lucas might as well delist himself at this rate.

Was as weak as piss. Given the ball use by East Perth there was a lot of 50/50 contests. Lucas committed one hand and his lower arms to a few contests that could have been won but where lost.

His ball use is poo as well.

How was Waterman in the second half mate? I noticed he picked up some disposals and a goal - I can only assume he got moved on the ball. Lycett and Brophy do ok?

Barrass seemingly the only one to have made a case for selection today...
Sorry, no.

Easily his worst game reserves or league. For some reason he kept misreading the play and flight of the ball which is usually his greatest strength. This saw him over run marking contests. Only took one mark all day and his opponents took advantage numerous times. Was shifted forward late.

Adamson had a tagging job on Bairstow after half time in the reserves.

Karpany failed a fitness test on his shoulder, should be back in reserves next week.

Nice one, I did a quick search on Youtube but couldn't find it.

Yeah the WAFL don't make themselves that easy to find on there :|

Been told both should be ok for Saturday but those decisions tend to change Saturday morning. Have a feeling all three would have played last week if they weren't AFL listed players.

Cheers. WAFL report on the club website said Main had a back injury, any idea what's wrong with RoPo?
