What do we need to win a premiership?

arent those first two options what i wrote in anothoer one of your threads about whether we can win a premiership in 2005?

anyway, we need the first two as i mentioned in your other thread about pretty much the same thing:

Forward who can kick 60+goals

CHB who can play on Tredrea, Hall etc.

By the way, you do start a lot of threads....just thought id point it out.

Defense worked well together towards the end of the year although of course an amazing CHB would be nice...

Based on this years impresive performances, for doogs to show improved for next year he would need to kick at least 50/60 goals next year. Throw in Gaidner at CHF who should get say a minimum of 20 goals and the Eagles are already a 30-40 goal better side than last year.

I think the only problem Woosha will have for next year is CHB.

Lynch is reasonable but he is far too slow and not a match for the likes of the Tredreas or Halls. Staker could be the one to fill the gap but he is still a year or two off from dominating this position as he is not strong enough for these players.

Who else could go to this position and match these players??

Maybe someone who can play through the mid feild as a tager, and maybe drift for half the match up foward. Someone that can score atleast 40 goals and still put in abit of work in the mid feild.

Gehrig wanted to leave, and had we not traded him he probably would have went in the Pre-Season Draft and we would have got nothing for him..
At least this way we got Daniel Kerr with the pick that we traded him for, and Sierakowski

AT LEAST 50 or 60 is a bit harsh on Doogs, how about we say about 40?

what we need is a CHF as has been said many times, but i agree with Juddy03 the most, we need an injury free season and the cup is in the bag.
