Carltons Jarrad Waite has been reported for tripping Byron Pickett in the 1st quarter of Sundays game.
It would be nice if he does miss as he is about the only Carlton player that usually hurts us. With him out and Fisher injured i dont see them getting near us.

West Coast on-baller Daniel Kerr has been charged with a Level One striking offence against Robert Harvey, St Kilda, during the first quarter of the Round One match between West Coast and St Kilda, played at Subiaco on Thursday March 30, 2006.

Kerr can accept a reprimand and 56.25 points towards his future record with an early plea.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point), in play (no points) and body contact (one point). This is a total of four activation points, which relates to Level One offence, drawing 75 demerit points and a reprimand. He has no applicable good or bad record. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 56.25 points towards his future record.

Other players to reported are:

Henry Slattery, Essendon, has been charged with a Level Two striking offence against Jude Bolton, Sydney, during the third quarter of the Round One match between Essendon and Sydney, played at Telstra Dome on Saturday April 1, 2006.

He can accept a reprimand and 93.75 points toward his future record with an early plea.

This is a total of five activation points, which relates to Level Two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a reprimand. He has no applicable good or bad record. Byron Pickett, Melbourne, has been charged with a first offence for wrestling Heath Scotland, Carlton, during the first quarter of the Round One match between Melbourne and Carlton, played at Telstra Dome on Sunday April 2, 2006.

He can accept a $900 fine with an early plea.

A first offence for wrestling is a $1200 fine. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to a $900 fine.

Heath Scotland, Carlton, has been charged with a second offence for wrestling Byron Pickett, Melbourne, during the first quarter of the Round One match between Carlton and Melbourne, played at Telstra Dome on Sunday April 2, 2006.

He can accept an $1800 fine with an early plea.

A second offence for wrestling is a $2400 fine. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to an $1800 fine.

The Match review panel also looked at the following incidents, but decided no charges would be laid:

The match day report laid against Carlton's Jarrad Waite was reviewed. It was the view of the Match Review Panel that the lack of clear vision of any illegal contact meant the report should not proceed.Contact between the Western Bulldogs Adam Cooney and Richmond's Chris Hyde from the third quarterof Friday's Round One match was reviewed. The panel said Cooney pushed his head on to Hyde's head but the action did not constitute a reportable offence.

Contact between Port Adelaide's Kane Cornes and the Kangaroos' Brent Harvey from the fourth quarter of Saturday's Round One match was investigated. Due to a lack of vision of the contact, no further action was taken.

Contact between Fremantle's Josh Carr and Hawthorn's Richard Vandenberg from the fourth quarter of Sunday's Round One match was reviewed. The panel said the impact made by Carr was considered to be below the level required to constitute a reportable offence.

yep the Review board threw it out any way pickett deserves the trip hope he sent a few post cards ;) couldn;t happen to a nicer chap ;)
