Year 12 was my most fun year, stressful yes but all the 18th etc were a lot of fun.

I was in year 9 in 95, was a good year for me, a good age for stubbies in the reserve next to my mates ha ha
looky here. we got a spring chicken!

I hated exams as I would crack under the pressure and was a shit at studying.
I always found the danger of continuous assessment was that you ended up setting a standard that you can't be bothered living up to half the time and I was pretty safe taking exams.

Everyone has different ways of learning and I think that’s become a lot more apparent with adhd and autism being more researched. My son is in his final year of teaching and teachers now have to accomodate for all the different types of kids in class rather teachers just teaching one method. Kudos to teachers these days as their jobs are a lot harder I reckon.

Another great track from 1995.

Tricky was part of the Bristol trip hop music scene back then along with Portishead who won the 1995 Mercury Prize with Dummy.

It wasn't all about Britpop back then with Oasis v Blur, the Bristol trip hop bands were in the mix.

I was 21 in 1995 and attended this festival, but I really didn't appreciate it. I was too drunk.

I'd probably move to Manchester or London and take loads of MDMA instead of drinking to excess in Belfast. Or Brighton.

The year in Hip Hop was amazing. So many great albums dropped that year or the year prior. Multiple Wu solo albums, Mobb Deep and Tha Dogg Pound to name just a few.
