wallace in the last few days hasnt been taking any chances with the RFC just scooping them out 1 by 1 and he's already got about 5 guys di-listed so if he scoops that many guys off the team then we better get some good players....

Cheers....

make that 6 players.... dont worry we have our trust in terry that he will pick up quality players to take their places... just getting rid of the uneeded players!

cheers!

none of them will be missed. blumfield oviously the biggest disappointment. However, it sends a clear message that no matter what your name is if you dont perform you are out the door. the sacking of justin blumfield may be very worthwhile.

blumfield is so overated just been exposed for the dud he is .injuries are just
excuses.

I'm not sure that Wallace would have even had a great say in this, other than probably agreeing with it and saying he wanted it done quick. I suspect it was mostly Millers work. Then again, the bootstudder could have made the decision to get rid of these 6. The hard decisions with the list are still to come and will continue on to this time next year.

Exactly Right there Crumden.

Any Joe Blow could have made this decision with these 6 players, i praise the way it was done so soon but now the hard decisions have got to be made.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Richo is on the cards to be traded, I dunno why. I hope not, love the big fella but wonder what we could get.

The Herald Sun posted a Trade Teaser of Ottens to Adelaide for Brent Reilly, Pick 8, Pick 24, I tell ya if they offered that come trade time we should snap it up. Heres hoping.

I hope that's not a crack at Brownyrox, because I know for a fact that he is just a kid
who loves the Tigers. If it is, leave the kid alone. He's trying to learn about this
place and trying to make a contribution...
Cheers

Deliberate, don't worry Tigers07 is just illiterate. He is not very smart and can't put a proper sentence together. I'm sure he wasn't having a go at Brownyrox

Don`t know so much crum, Read in the paper today some comments TW made regardind the axings .

He said that he had seen every Richmond game this year and that he had had many conversations with G Miller ?

I wonder over what period he had these conversations ?

We all love a conspiricy theory and i`ll give you mine ..... i suspect that TW was a tiger long before the football world new about it even as far back as the N Brown signing . I mean in all seriousness , what leveridge did Casey and Miller use to lure him to punt rd.? certainly wasn`t the lure of finals footy just around the corner , encompassing our wonderful coach and A grade list .

And the biggest thing i could never truelly understand from last season ......... why on earth did Tony Jewell , a bloke with yellow and black blood running through his veins , come out and seriously white ant Frawley on the eve of the season .Casting a huge cloud of negativity at the worst time ? In the short term it was a horrible thing to do ........ but long term , if you wanted to make sure 110% that this would be Frawleys last year , tactically , it was uncanny .

I could never understand it then ......... but now?

Madness!

I would be aghast if this trade came to fruition. Players like Ottens are so scarce that he must be kept at all costs. A trade is non-negotiable.

I'd keep these guys by choice.

Coughlan
Ottens,
Krakouer
Johnson
Brown
Hartigan
Jackson
Newman
Moore
Raines
Roach
Schulz
Tuck
Bowden (if he continues to improve)
Zantuck
Pettifer (possibly)

...and these by default

Stafford
Richardson
Campbell
Rodan

Thats 20,It's pretty much take your pick as to who u want gone first with the rest

Chaffey
Fiora
Gaspar
Kellaway
Hall
Hyde ?

It's gonna be ugly for a year or two

What did you expect browny? Would any club in their right mind be interested in the hacks that have been shown the door? It's a blight on danny frawley that he recruited these duds. He should send a written apology to every single member.

I remember going to the family day before the season for the jumper presentation and I was honestly very worried with what I saw. These guys just didn't look like footballers. I left punt road shaking my head. I was right.

Normally i agree with what you say chris but in this case to keep ottens at all costs simply sends the wrong message.
if we are to take a step foward then ottens will be the perfect "test case".if there is the slightest hint of Otto holding us to ransom with an unrealistic "pay rise" then on your bike Otto.

cheers!

i am not disappointed in his delisting, i am disapointed that we picked up a premiership gun player for very little and he has done nothing.

Agreed TOO!. Its somethimes at the negotiating table where you find out if a player is serious about being part of a successful team or just retiring comfortably as possible.

It would be the toughest test with a player of Ottens talent and there would be some real pain in comming seasons to watch him blossom at another side but its something we need to do.

I get the feeling Danny is not too impressed with Wallace as he said that he would leave any discussion Wallace wanted to have with him to Greg Miller.

I suspect he knew that Wallace was not standing back until October which he said on Talking Footy.

But Good on Wallace. As far as I am concerned, if a coach wants to stay on after he has been sacked then how can he not expect to have the new regime comming together in the background. I dont think he truly understood the concept of caretaker coach.

maybe danny is ********ed because he now knows that wallace was earmarked much earlier than we all thought, you can bet thats why we have delisted these players so quickly, im sure we have a few surprises up our sleeves.

poor old danny is a bit wet behind the ears you would say, would have loved to have been sitting with t.j. and miller during those games to hear the conversations.

Your theory was sounding good IDGAF until you came up with this bit about Tony Jewel being a mastermind. TJ is all Richmond at heart, but all air between the ears.
