War and Peace

I'm going on a holiday tomorrow for a week, and i thought I might as well borrow a book from the library to take to the beach.

On a whim, I borrowed Tolstoy's War and Peace.

Is it worth spending that amount of time that it will take to read this book, to read this book?

Hell no. That's a great read, but it's more of a 'trapped in the house in Winter with 2 meters of snow outside' type of book. Not going to the beach.

Of course, if this holiday is the sort where you have to hang out with all sorts of annoying relatives or in-laws whom you'd rather not speak to, then yeah, take it. Peace,
