You seem to be implying that Howard went to the defence force and told them to say what he wanted them to say ..... now if that was the case I would agree with you. But its a huge accusation to make.

Speaking for myself no I dont always believe Politicians. But at some point we have to remove our hands and let them try and do their job. Sometimes these decisions may not be what we want to see or hear, ..... BUT the right thing for this country is not always going to be the most popular.

I take in what they have seen and weigh it up and draw my own conclusion.

maybe, just maybe, this isn't about the iraqi people. Maybe every now and again the war needs a war to show the people who's in charge.

But generally (just for future benefit) a response should normally address the points your argueing, and provide points that counter.
