can anyone recommend this game........is it worth buying?

best rts game ever.
make sure you get the expansion. a huge single player campaign. an expansion single player campaign to rival the original in length and quality.
4 different and varied races, yet all equally playable. There is no dominant race in multiplayer. You can win with them all.

multiple strategies for each race. loads of different units and maps. tournaments, clans, teams. 6v6 multiplayer on battlenet. need i say more.

Its awesome. I would highly recommend it and the Frozen Throne.

it is on actual gameplay and depth.I just prefer real military units than undead armies etc.etc.

C&C Generals is a pathetic game. ALl you do is install the crappy movies they put in the game and stuff like that.

As for Warcraft 3, love it so much im selling it and im a fan of Blizzard games..
