The Official Fremantle Football Club Website said:The Fremantle Football Club was today advised by ruckman Robert Warnock and his management that he wishes to return home to Victoria for family reasons.
The club, which has worked diligently with Robert and his management to secure the 21-year-old’s services, is disappointed that he will not extend his career at Fremantle beyond the three seasons and 21 games he has played for the club.
Robert said the decision to return home was an extremely difficult one.
“I have enjoyed my time at the club and with the playing group and coaches immensely, so it is a very tough decision to leave,” he said.
“I believe that Fremantle is on the right track and has a bright future but this is simply a personal decision to head home to be closer to my family in Melbourne.
“My management will be working proactively with the club to secure the best possible result for Fremantle.
“I would like to thank all Fremantle supporters, the players, coaches, staff and everyone associated with the club for their support.”
There is a month until trade week begins and general manager of football operations Chris Bond will manage the next phase of negotiations to secure the best possible trade outcome for the Fremantle Football Club.
Warnock For Dennis Armfield and David Ellard...
Will be laughing in two years when he is in the same position again as a back up ruckman to Kreuzer
Agreed. Draft picks should be a priority. Now why would you bend yourself over with a proposal like that?
Armfield isn't much chop and Ellard isn't worth anything.
Better off securing draft picks as list space is also precious.
Personally, I blame estibador for this. As his buddy, the buck stops with you esti. Not good enough!
Harsh but fair.....Massive, massive, massive blow. This fella will be a giant of the competition in a few years time. Morons in the media and ******ed opposition supporters note... We tried to keep him. We don't want to get rid of him. When he's a superstar, if you mention that Fremantle made a mistake by trading him, I will kill you, as well as everything and everyone you love.
Let the bidding start at a top five draft pick, which reflects his massive potential and is in no way asking too much.

let him go to carlton or melbourne or wherever just milk them for wat there worth
Solomon needs to be signed now as a matter of urgency
...I am visualizing Soloman careering off the wing on the first bounce
