A WC supporter was on the radio yesterday said she didn't know what happened. Then she said said was cheering Gaff because it might be the last time they sew Gaff in WC colours.

I don't know, maybe she thought he was going to be rested for the next 6-7 games because his character is just so good.

Or maybe she doesn’t get To go to every game?

He said in his post when has a broken jaw happened not the outcome.
Agree maybe different levels of breaks but go back and read post
You think Cripps broke his jaw like Brayshaw has. Did Cripps have teeth caved in, was Cripps eating through a straw for the next month? Or perhaps is was a hairline fracture and some mayo was put on the medical report.

Delusion and deflection.

Wow! I suggest you might need to take off your blue and yellow glasses. I think the vast majority of the country knew what your supporter base were doing.
Those people who were booing goodes here and over east were clearly (in my opinion) being driven by a sub set booing him for being an outspoken black man daring to challenge racism in this country.

Thats my mob and any other mob.

They drove it and others joined in. The others joining in didnt neccesarily have the same motivation but the net effect was the same.

Im going to give you a hint here and ask you to look at my profile pic.

And see where ive stood on other issues like this.

Jordan lewis last year on Cripps

Cripps was drinking through a straw with a wired jaw, was he?

The lengths that people go to in order to argue that this was your ordinary, run-of-the-mill footy love tap are astounding. It's been 35 years since there has been a punch of this magnitude. It will have consequences for both parties far in excess of anything we've seen since '85.

Personally, I don't mind the jumper punches and elbows to the shoulders and back. All part of footy.

But there is a line called assault occasioning actual bodily harm that you cannot cross. This is an example of crossing that line.

There is also common assault which is normally a single punch resulting in superficial damage, which is more similar to the jumper punches. A little mild common assault, if you want to be dramatic, is an accepted practice. But know that if you want to engage in that behaviour and you find you cross the line either intentionally or recklessly (it doesn't matter legally) then you're potentially facing some very serious consequences.

Lol. That was a glancing blow and Cripps played the next week. Completely incomparable to what Andy Brayshaw is going through.
Look I'm not defending Gaff should get 6 or 7 but ask Cripps of it was glancing. Read the original post .... said its never happened in 35 years...it has .. i know different levels

I know what you suggested. A system that let's some thug play finals in place of a few games at the start of the next season. A system that looks after the perpetrator.
As it stand the system consistently lets perpetrators off to play gf’s

Im suggesting a system that ensures they get their just deserts - and if they choose to they can trade it for finals at the rate of 3:1.

Not the way you guys were.. you guys take it to nazi rally level. And never had the local media take you to the cleaners properly. That why you beleive your own bullshit. You all have a little bit of nesbits DNA in you..because it is nice to be be told how great you are all the time.

Adam goodes was booed by all clubs supporter bases.

All of them suck for it.

Maybe its time we thought about a 3 for 1 rule in finals so punishments stay in proportion - without killing the teams finals hopes - yet making sure the punishment is worthwhile.

If a player earns 1 week in finals - he can take the week - or serve 3 next year.

Ie if gaff gets 7 - and assuming eagles go straight through to the granny undefeated.

There are 3 games left in the season

Leaving 4 games owed

He wants to play in all 3

So next year he would serve 9 weeks + 1 left over as well as 3 this season. - total 13.

There are major flaws with this proposed system, and Gaff is a prime example of why. If he leaves the Eagles at the end of this season, he would (potentially under this idea) serve 3 weeks suspension as an Eagle, play in a finals series and premiership with them, and then serve ten weeks suspension for his new club next year.

Or, what if a 33 year old gets suspended, elects to roll the suspension to next season and then retires after the Grand Final?

Or, a player breaks an opponents jaw in a Qualifying Final and rolls his subsequent suspension to next year. In the Grand Final, the same two teams could meet (as did happen with WCE v Sydney in both 2005 and 2006), with the victim sitting in the stands watching the perpetrator running around in the GF.

Well done west coast supporters. You once again prove you are the worst supporters of any club in the country for the past 15 years. Collingwood make you look chumpy. Boo on that.
Interested to know if you would tell this to you family and friends that are west coast supporters. As well as directly call them liars and scum like many dockers fans have in here.

If suspension is ongoing when he quits, drag it out of his final salary.
