Good point, I guess they like to have these awards presented at the AA night, once you get past the Grand Final no one cares about GOTY or MOTYDo goal and mark of the year only ever include goals and marks from the home and away season?
What if a screamer or amazing goal - best of all time - is in finals? Too bad?

Ironically they lost the easiest game of them all, how on earth do you lose to that Eagles side at home?Bolton's effort earlier in the season against the Dogs IIRC was a lot more impressive and skillful
There is bit of a flavour of the month vibe about Ginnivan that eventually will die down once Collingwood actually start playing good teams (they have had an unbelievable easy fixture to start the season)
