Game Day Was that goal of the year by Ginnivan?

It's the distance covered not how many steps you take. He took 18 steps but covered only 10 meters

It’s the distance covered by every step you take. So if he took 18 steps he clearly ran more than 15-metres … unless he takes running steps as small as a 7yo - it doesn’t matter if those steps take him around in circles and he ends up where he started, if he ran more than 15-metres it’s too far.

Obviously it's distance. 10 metres my a*se hahaha! He takes the ball going away from the goals first, then in an arc towards the boundary before heading towards goal, then dodges one or two players.

Not even in a straight line would it be 15 metres, let alone 10! Very funny mate.

Can't pay goal of the year to an umpiring mistake. 19-20 steps. Embarrassing they even nominated it. Plenty of things would look good if you could break the rules.
You mean like the Mark of the Year they paid to G Ablett back in the 90s, when he got up high but didn't hold/control the ball on the way down? Is that another example of things that look good if you could break the rules?

It might be 20 steps but he was only taking little baby steps while dodging opponents. He didn't go more than 15 metres and if he did there are worse examples not paid every single game

It was a mark. Ablett controlled it with his right hand. Ball gets knocked out when he hits the ground. It's a mark.
Try again.
