Gardiner's manager begged St Kilda to take him - Geelong did nothing in the process (other than to say OK, we'll lump him in with King rather than delisting him).

Very well worded intelligent answer. The correlation is that King had served Geelong well so they did the right thing by him. Mumford has been given a better offer by Sydney (like Collingwood have with Ball) and they wished him the best of luck. You need things spelt out don't you- Not real quick on the uptake?

Can't wait for 2010. I will enjoy the saints wasting an opportunity. Spin it all you like this summer has been a shambles. Their lack of respect to a champion of the club in Luke Ball will bite them hard.
