Getting all of Sydney's weather from yesterday....
A cold wet front has just hit Perth and it is bucketing down and will continue to do so until about midday tomorrow. Tomorrow morning Perth is expecting wild storms with hail etc etc.

Wow we got smashed where I live yesterday. Around 80mm of rain in just over an hour. All of the landscaping we just got done has been destroyed....Mother Nature....* you!!

hate seeing people hurt, love seeing the usa so powerless..........

2017 was a lousy year for rain in the capital (well at AA Manor).
Only had 501 mm for the year compared to over 700 mm the previous two years. Average annual in Canberra is around 630 mm.

I hate hot weather.
I honestly don’t remember how we survived this sort of weather when I was young. We didn’t have an air-conditioner or a ceiling fan.
Maybe the idea of a day at the local pool was exciting enough to take your attention away from how hot it was in reality. We went to two different pools when I was young. On a more temperate day Oak Park was ok. Tomorrow would definitely be Pascoe Vale (or Pacco as we preferred to call it). Its deep end was 10 feet (3 metres for the younger poster) which provided a cooler swimming pool.
