Wondered what you were talking about, but can understand re-reading my post.

My first sentence was referring to Mileras contract - we have so many losers in so many positions - list management, coaching etc.

The absolute melts either way on this topic have been pretty funny.

The issue wasn't the substance of what Milera said, and the club behind closed doors are probably like 'look mate we were completely fine with it and had a good laugh', and his assessment wasn't incorrect in the slightest. But I can see the angle where Milera is part of the leadership group then 'externally' they're trying to just say that those words were probably chosen poorly in a post-game interview. Similar to the Rachele situation, there's less of an issue with the comments/actions themselves, and more what opposition teams can do in terms of using them as fuel against us. Silvers says sorry, the media beat it up, and we move on. That this has managed to get more media traction than our other 'issue' last week is WILD.

You can bet your bottom dollar Sydney will probably have the words 'Rabble' all over their whiteboards come the next time we play against them. We just don't want to give an opposition even the slightest of incentives where we don't have to.

Junior being untacklable was back in a big way against the Swans. Good signs his form might just spike.

Or ... you don't give a rat's what 2c motivation a team puts on it's whiteboard and you concentrate on being good enough to absorb and then dominate no matter how much a team "lifts".

Hawks and Geelong at their peak just bullied everyone all the time.

They bullied them on the field, not in radio interviews.

It's not a big deal, but it's a pretty silly thing to say. Club was right to just get on the front foot, say sorry, and move on.

The idea that the club apologised because they are "woke" is pretty hilarious though.

Pretty much. The public space isn't one for disparaging comments against your opponent, no matter how accurate they are. Just comes off as drinking your own bathwater.

And this club has already got a proud history of drinking its own bathwater.
