Two pretty even teams. Adelaide v Perth at the WACA easily the best WBBL game Ive watched this season live.

Gibson can whack the ball cant she?

Good thing for Adelaide is their bowling unit might have had one of their weaker days with the ball yesterday but still ended up winning, and their batting is coming good just at the right time. Although chasing a target like that, you never really want to leave it to the last ball or two.

but hey a wins a win and to win at one of the top 4 teams away ground is a good omen for the rest of the competition. Im assuming WBBL will have the added advantage of 'home' finals as one has to admit having home crowd support is a big thing.

Perth had their best ever WBBL crowd for a home fixture yesterday (3,434):

If you play that at Optus maybe you can get 12k? (my initial estimate was about 35k which might be a tad pessimistic)

A little criticism of the WACA ground, being at the ground, the digital scoreboard/screen are tiny. You need a bigger screen as its almost impossible to view the screen from the stands/or grassed banks. Think the Junction Oval/North Sydney Oval had much bigger electronic scoreboards, where you didnt have to to squint to see what was going on.

That cant be right can it? 3,424 being the biggest crowd of WBBL so far? Im pretty sure North Sydney Oval had a crowd of 7k or so for one of their games.

Think that crowd of around 7K was for last seasons final at North Sydney. 3,424 would be the biggest this season.
You would think could make a case for more games if they get more crowds like that..........

Must say it was a decent atmosphere especially in that last over yesterday between Adelaide and Perth.
