Before this season started a bunch of posters were talking about how tough the first half of the year will be for us and we'll see some light in the second half.

Oh boy do I hope that's right, coz right now I just can't see us winning a game this season.
I reckon to start the year there were a few games you could line up as winnable.

Basically any games against Richmond and North should be close to 50/50, at home we could arguably be favorites.
  • Round 13 - We have North in WA (Home Game)
  • Round 19 - We have Richmond at Optus (Home Game).

Those games on paper should still be a better chance than any game we've had so far this year.

Then there's other potentially jumpable teams like:
  • Round 10 - Saints (Home Game)
  • Round 14 - Carlton (Home Game)
  • Round 24 - Sydney (Home Game) - if we haven't won one by then the boys would be very very desperate

Those games might all be 20-30% chance of a win.

Odds are still in our favor I reckon.

Look I hope so.

To be honest today I'm more angry about losing than depressed. I guess that's an upgrade? 😂

I don’t think we’ll win a game until maybe Richmond at home later in the year now.

That was the chance today and we ****ing blew it. We really needed to win that and we absolutely shit the bed.

We said the same thing after the Essendon game.

At least the players know now they can actually be in games a bit more consistently and not get blown away.

It's a massive improvement after the past 3 years.

I honestly can’t see us playing much better than that but we should’ve won by 5 goals. Really let down by our forwards.

We'll get pumped mate.

How often is Watweman going to kick 1.3 .or whatever he kicked .

Saints are obviously a level above Richmond, but we have really struggled this year against teams with big clearance mids that bash and crash. I wouldn’t put saints in that bucket.

I’ve see enough signs that we are improving to say we will be competitive.

It’s teams like Carlton and GCS that will be an issue.

Not arguing your point, but you don't see Jack Macrae as that type of mid?

It's great that you're a true believer but there is no way we will beat the Saints. The mindset of the players is too negative and nothing will change that bar a new coach which won't happen until the current spud's contract runs out.

lol - after only 9 matches and with a new coach. Unfortunately Mini has had no say and has adopted the present list which needs addressing.

You need to calm down, bruz.

I'm not sold on Mini either way, yet. Whoever was coming in was going to eat a shit sandwich for a few years. There have been selection issues that have bothered me (Gross, TK etc), but the key is our drafting. Probably my biggest issue I have with him is that he probably played a part in the Baker decision.

But it's a waiting game and we need to remain calm for time being.

From your perspective, being a true believer and all. Want a sig bet?
What's with you weirdos desperate to bet on everything?

Multis not doing it for you?

Regardless of what transpires in the future, asking for a coach to be sacked 9 games into their tenure just puts you as a clueless moron.
