OK as newly appointed captain i shall post our finalised side for the upcoming test series'.

Batters - i changed a couple of guys from right to left to change up the side and give some opposition bowlers some headaches.

Ok so that should be the lineup, a few changes here and there but that should be it.

Just a couple of things jod:

we cant have all pure bowlers and batters. May I suggest you change Esperito and Goldenblue to standard batters.

I'll say a couple of things about the bowling structure soon as well but we need a couple of standard bowlers there.

Legspin is fine with me. My Flipper is coming on well and my batting is up with Shane Warne's.

ps I like to bowl with a breeze left to right to assist the drift and I'm a good slip

I reckon ONE EYE and Go Eagles should be standard bowlers, like they were in the one dayers. Don't really mind, as long as I am a PUREBOWLER.

Thanks for the input Vis. Is there a rule in place that says we cant all be pure? Cos Lee, Gillespie and McGrath aint just bowlers if you know what i mean . In tests there is no need for all rounders or part timers but if there is a rule in place that i cant have all pure players then i will switch it up.

It has come to my attention that I need to create a little rule for the structure of the sides.

Rule: Each team must have at least two players that are not pure (ie. batter, bowler or allrounder) This way it makes the competition more even. Keepers are classed as a pure player.

Yep ive been there and fixed up the side. Goldenblue and Mr Eagle have changed from pure to just normal.

Jod, your going to need to change more than two people...that minimum two standard players is for an actual game and not just the squad. Two pure batsmen will have to change to batsmen and the same thing with the pure bowlers, two down to bowlers...

PS Get rid of the medium pace bowler. Who ever heard of a medium pace pure bowler!

LOL vis i just went through all of this on the Fantasy Cricket board.

I have changed Esperito and Goldenblue to batters and ONE EYE and Mr Eagle to normal bowlers.

Ok i think that should cover it as the pure batters should get a run most weeks as should the pure bowlers or at least both quicks. Then providing form and the wicket the two non pure batters and bowlers should rotate into the side. Unless the team would like me to just rotate everyone in and out but that could eventuate in having two normal batters in a side which could give us a disadvantage.

Looking at the squad, with my utter genius cricket brain, may I suggest the following:

Pure batters:

jod23 - right
Visro - left
daddy_4_eyes - left (he made his mark as a leftie, so why change now?)
WA - right
iceman - right

Standard batters:

Goldenblue - left
Esperito - right

Keeper:

Basic - right

Standard bowlers:

ONE EYE - left fast medium
Mr Eagle - left fast

Pure bowlers:

carneagles - right fast
eagleskickass - right fast
Frodo - right leg spin
GoEagles - right off break

That would be a good side I think. On another note, what are we going to do with the averages, all use the ones we finished from last season, only a couple of people use them, no people use them?

Do we get to keep our averages from the one dayers? or do we have to start from the beginning?

I heard something that its up to us, in which case i would like my one day averages to be used (I think it's 47.5 or something??)

No averages from last time...... makes it more fair for the other teams.....visro said he was going to figure some out, but I think'd be better if the averages were rebuilt during the season...it is a different style of game remember and in real life, the 2 averages are kept seperate, so I think we should too........
