If indeed Gourdis has been told we'd pick him up with our PSD pick then that's exactly what we should do. We were the charitable team willing to give Cousins a chance, the AFL thinks they've called our bluff but in reality they'll have ended Cousins career, I wanna watch them squirm amongst the uproar.

Depression is something that can be managed though, if that's the only reason he was delisted i'd prefer a kid with amazing physical attributes and a treatable mental illness to a 30 year old recovering drug addict with dodgey hammies. It wasn't long ago we'd all but accepted our flat refusal to take Cousin at all, then we came forward and offered to give him a chance, he's not a required player but if we could have our original PSD pick AND Cousins it'd be worth a shot.

All rumours aside - it looks very strange from outside the club that Richmond delists Gourdis and is then so commited to him that they request a change of rules rather than pick cousins ahead of him.

I know clubs delist and re-draft guys all the time, but this seems like a strange case.

Actually Beaver, I think they are pretty healthy now, especially after getting 2 talls in the ND, I suppose adding another will only improve the situation.

very strange, in fact bloody weird, his CV is nothing flash, playing almost entire year in the thirds with non too many highlights ...Im not saying the kid hasnt got potential but sheesh, he's coming from a long way back and to think we're overlooking a Brownlow medalist, 4 x B&F premiership player for him...errr, Go figure
