Damn right, i said last week that it was obvious that he is on par with white as our most important players, although most of his possies have been uncontested chip chip ones, he has also floated back as the third man a few times today, as he always does. Seemed cleaner with disposal than others in the first half

Rivers would be more effective in the ruck than White at the moment. Absolutely pumped at the taps he was.

There is a lot of talk about Rivers getting the uncontested disposal and such, but that's because he has the footy brains to read the play and get himself in the right position. One on one, he can punch it away, but usually he is good enough to peel off his player and take it uncontested.
His brilliance and importance should not be underestimated.

what a gun rivers is! i didnt even realise how badly we needed him until yesterday. he sure does hold our backline together. we need a few more like him.
