A friend of mine has sent me the following. Now don't jump all over us but just start thinking a little "outside the square"

It may be right , it may wrong........but we don't want to waste the next few years before we find out it was at least partially right.

So does that mean Geelong need to trade there midfield?

drop an 'S' and you actually have the name of our traditional home ground.

Now, onto the OP's thoughts.

Yes, we need to get away from Jihad stadium and move somewhere else. However unless PP suddenly got a massive injection of funds for development to take it to about a 50,000 seater stadium, which wont happen, we wont be able to set all of our supporters at our home ground.

Given that the AFL is looking at PP as a small crowd venue, 25-30k there is little chance that they will allow us to push the total out to 50k because it will start going against jihad...

But I do agree that playing at our home ground was what used to give us a big boost. ATM, we are playing at 'neutral venues' where there is no history for our great club.

We dont need to get rid of Judd. I dont think that he is the problem. we need to get consistancy into our games. Certain other players let the side down with their lack of intensity and commitment.

We do need a proper CHF who can open up the forward line for Fev because we are still too dependant on a single target in the forward line and thats allowing the opposition to run off their forward targets and flood into the centre to impede Fev's run at the ball.

There is nothing wrong with our defence by the way... we have a couple of key defenders out injured and we are playing a bunch of inexperienced kids down there.

I'd say we have Warnock in the side as a #1 ruckman, Kruezer moves to CHF and Fevola finally does his job and doesn't be such a stupid mario.

We also need a tough nut defender with rebound pace, instead of the Shirley's we generally throw back there.
