The extra draft pick is surely in the bag.

The second half prformance was pathetic with no running off the ball, no chasing back, no commitment and no passion.

But KJ started the rot. I am certain that he is going for the extra draft picks and that means only two more wins maximum, saints and freo. He was shocked to see us four goals in front and looking like winning. If you want to win and are on a roll do you press home your advantage or put your captain and best player in a pocket and rest your ruckman. Well the second one was Judgeys choice. Cox came into the ruck and the Cats won everything out of the middle to turn the four goal lead into a one goal half time deficit.

That lifted the Cats no end and after half time the Eagles dropped their heads.

Geelong are a physical side. They showed us that in round 1. Today at 7-8 they were desperate for a win. 8-8 gives them a good finals chance. 7-9 and it would almost have been all over red rover. They were bound to be physical and pumped up. We had to match that for four quarters to win. We didn't.

ps. Goldspink is without doubt the worst umpire in the AFL. He is baffling.

A close tie with one from last week - No. 13 I think it was.

At least this week, a couple of the questionable decisions went our way too. Maybe he was trying to 'even it up abit'

My predictions are becoming a reality. A few weeks back i said that we'll see unready players playing, rookies playing in key positions, and our better players in either support roles or in weird positions.

Today we saw all that, Hunter and humm played but were benched 90% of the time, Cox was in the ruck, Cousins was at FF and Jako was in the midfield.

But who cares? Essendon is gonna win the premieship while all other teams will have wasted a whole season. The eagles will at least get a concession pick out of this year. And finished above Freo despite this being our worst season EVER.

Ive been to most games this year and theres no doubt that every time we put Cox in the ruck, we start losing the midfield battles...I know he's inexperienced but put him there in bursts, not for full quarters!!

We got to 4 goals in front in the second quarter and instead of pressing the lead with our best players in our best positions, Cousins goes to FF, Cox into the ruck, and Taylor and Kerr were no where to be seen

No doubt that last quarter was an embarressment, the mistakes the players made at times were shocking!!

Yeah i wasa disappointed with the last quarter too. I though to myself we are gonna lose but at least it isnt a thrashing, but we seemed to lose all focus in the last and got destroyed.

Think it was ling who did a good job on Cousins, its weird though isnt it that the commentators said he did a great job and he still had 27 disposals and 2 goals. That really hammers it home just how well cuz has been playing.
