I was sitting there yesterday at the G thinking it would have been great for Melbourne to be there. But watching the game, you had to be realistic. We would not have won. To put it simply, you need to have that week off to have a realistic chance of making the Grand Final. They would have exposed us down back. The only place I believe we would have done better than Adelaide in was our forward line. But the backline would have been such a problem, impossible to overcome.

I also can't believe, I was nearly barracking for Collingwood No such luck next week, GO LIONS.

very true... i totally agree with you.
atm, collingwood are playing VERY good footy, and would have, without a doubt, run over the top of us. perhaps if we had our defenders playing - we would have had a chance, but we dont so theres no way we could have even come close.
for that reason, im very looking forward to next season. if (for the first time in a while) we can keep up the same form as we've had this season for next yr, plus getting back our defenders - i think we can do really well...

but back to yesterdays game - it was quite entertaining to watch - even tho we only watched the first quarter and a bit... well done to the pies - but i agree with you andrew... CARN THE LIONS!
