Mop up boy again probably, although as I have expressed all over BF recently would like to see him up forward, regardless of whether Fev behaves like a child or not.

Waite should play forward but I expect the same old thing and he'll rotate between back and forward. dunno that Mr. Predictable can change his mind can he? Lets hope he can come up with ideas...

OK so no Big Anfony this week.

No Trav.

No Fraser to drift forward occasionally.

What will Ratts do with the Son of Vinnie ?

Depends on final selections to some degree.

The Pies may go with
Anthony - Bower
Medhurst - Jamison
Brown - Thornton
Reid - Waite?

If Austin gets the chop and Fisher comes in for Cloke then Waite again, may start back. If Aussie is in we may see Fev, Fisher, Waite, Betts and Yarran up forward.

Waite simply has to play forward this week.

A forward line of Anthony, Leigh Brown, Reid/Nathan Brown (one of them will play forward), Medhurst and Davis is nothing to be particularly scared of.

Medhurst - Jamison
Anthony - Bower
Leigh Brown - Thornton
Reid/N.Brown - Austin
Davis - Joseph

Waite has shown he can play as a loose man in defense but when there is no dominant power forward to play loose in front of, I think it is a waste to play Waite in that role. I certainly don't want him to zone off his opponent and play loose in front of someone like Jack Anthony, who I will back Bower to do a good enough job on regardless of Waite being there or not.

Play Waite forward, I know we are hell-bent on playing him as a defender but he is our 2nd best forward and we need to play him there. Last week he kept us in the game, he knows how to kick goals and is a natural forward. Don't waste him down back when we don't need him there.

I just pray we dont turn up in the same mood as Freo game ie: Flat and uninterested.
We should have learnt our lesson by now, that is form, injuries and reputations mean nothing in rivalry games. We must be focused and not relaxed because they have injuries. We are not good enough yet for that.

Fraser out is the only genuine advantage for us as far as I am concerned.

Bringing anyone in for Rocca would be a net benefit at his point in time. I laughed last week to hear Nathan Buckley try and convince himself and listeners that Rocca's was playing himself back into form...he was terrible.

In a way Cloke out may straighten them up. All of the pissing about on the boundary line is because that is exactly where he leads. If they start looking for Medhurst or Anthony as a first option it will be better for the pies. They might want for a bit of height, but Pendlebury, Medhurst, Lockyer, Davis and Heath Shaw have enough footy smarts to kick a score.

Thomas...meh. He would be a handy in for them, but he hardly dictates the result.

In's are far more impressive. Davis is the type of player that can change the course of a match, and if Medhurst has an on-day (granted they are a rare occurence) he could slot 4-5, and Anthony makes the most of opportunities.

I still expect us to win and win well, but I think Collingwood are fielding a stronger team than last week.

The Pies INS are better than their OUTS on pure form alone.

I'm a tad worried but there are no excuses in this one.

Waite will play on Leiagh 'Spud' Brown and exploit his lack of pace, fitness and heart. Waite will run off him right down to the forward line and kick 2 in the first quarter.

He'll then, after dominating Brown for a while, play loose man in defence and have 25+ possesions with over 8 marks.

If there is no "danger" in the Collingwood forward line then Rats will again push him forward to again work to Waite's fitness and leap to hopefully take advantage of either Presti or Brown who are Diesel Trains compared to Waite's agility/speed.

Hopefully he'll dominate as I've just bought him into my DreamTeam :)
