The new album from Weezer is set for release on the 14th of September

first track, memories

sure Raditude really sucked and Red wasn't that great either. But this first track has me rather excited for the new album

also, Pinkerton delux re-issue coming out november 2nd so even if Hurley does a Raditude on us there's still some good Weezer to look forwards too. Weezer also plan to release Death to False Metal (a collection of previously unreleased tracks) some time in November and a third album in Rivers Alone series is on the books for release as well.

a lot coming up for Weezer fans :D

they were better when they released albums every three, years, not every year

I'm considering downloading a few songs and giving it a try first before I buy it.

I love Weezer but Ratitude was an embarrassment. Don't mind this song, but its not enough to get me too excited. A few reviews I've read have been relatively complementary though

Would be great if they could tour here for this album :thumbsu:

red album got me a bit excited for the band again.
dreamin, pork and beans and angel, miss sweeny and the one were some of their best stuff in years..

then there was ratitude. that shit has to be one of the worst albums in the last 10 years
and this memories song is awefull

I might buy this as a cd in a store! (memories ;))

I love all their albums.

Even the trashy pop stuff, rivers is a brilliant writer.

My blue cd is stuck in an old car cd deck that blew up. I never threw out the deck as Ive never bothered to dismantle it to get the cd out. I refuse to trash it. Its like a protector of blue gold.

I love weezer but they're such a hit and miss band. A world of difference between their best songs and their worst. Pinkerton and the blue album are still the only ones I can listen to from start to finish without cringing.
