Sad to lose you Worps! All the best at the Cats, just not against us!

IMO the gap between his best and worst game for us, impacted his contract offer from us. For what ever reason just did not reach the next level with us!

The Cats have a player who will give 100% effort all the time!

Another falcon returns home to the nest.

In moneyball terms he's a good pick up. Doesn't have to finish top 5 in our B&F next year to have an impact - but he helps fill a deficiency in our best 22. If nothing else happens this trade period other than landing Worpel, take a top 20 pick to the draft, and knowing Bruhn starts day one of pre season, then it's a 7/10.

If we land Marshall it very quickly becomes a 10/10

If we do a magic trick and get Curnow as well, they'll need to hire extra security at GMHBA to stop opposition supporters burning the joint to the ground.

Just get James to improve the difference between his best games and worsts games and he will be demanding a spot in your best 22. 100%

Yuck. I predict this will be a stinker for us. Putrid user of the ball who gets caught all the time.

Hopefully he can learn to flick the ball out quick to Holmes, Smith & Co so he doesn't get caught like he has been, but only time will tell.

Trouble is we don't have too many other options to bring in. Butters is 12 months away, if at all.

Not much else.

If you seriously think that, you'll be pleasantly surprised. He's a decent player when he plays to his strengths. Not to mention highly professional, great human being.

Very fond of Worps so I wish him all the best.

One of the worst in a midfield we toweled up in the prelim. Probably would have been pushed out of the Hawks mid next season if he'd stayed there. Hopefully we can get the best out of him and he can become a more consistent player for us and someone who can shore up our contested ball-winning ability. If he's drilled to just give it off to better users as much as possible, it might be of benefit.

As others have already alluded to, we have another mid coming back who I'd rather give the minutes to, but I guess they can duke it out over pre-season.

Just kidding. Welcome Worps. Always good to have a kid who grew up bleeding blue and white back at the club.

If nothing else, we're getting a solid solider for nothing, who is a fantastic human being around the club too.
