Medium defender/midfielder who possesses outstanding disposal with either foot, demonstrated by his 34-possession TAC Cup Grand Final display where he kicked also kicked 10 goals in a brilliant performance. Strong overhead and in one-on-one contests, Steele is an AIS/AFL Academy graduate. Represented Vic Country in 2008, winning All-Australian honours. From Congupna FC.

Steele Sidebottom (Murray / 182 / 79)

One of the best individual displays by a footballer I have ever seen. His performance in the TAC final was unbelievable and whilst its only one game remember that Dale Thomas jettisoned up the list on his GF a few years ago. Sidebottom showed he can change not only a game, but a BIG GAME! Runs all day, beaut skills, just has footy smarts and does the little things so very well. The posters that wanted a ball winner got one. He is very good one to one.

He's not a forward. Kicked at total of 7 during the year. Had 34 possies in the GF and had a day out in front of goal.
