Not in the slightest, he was as clean and creative as you'd want a top 10 pick to beAnyone who watched Henry a lot pre-AFL, was he as ultra-nervous as he seems now?

That one best for season for sure . But best 6 is someone else's opinion .View attachment 1657409
I’m not advocating Henry staying in the team. He has had two bad weeks in a row. It’s disappointing after a promising couple of PS games and the first round and some moments in the second round that this form couldn’t continue.
You don’t sell snake oil by any chance do you?So no one else has to (if you were even entertaining the thought), here's a rundown of his disposals in Q4 from Sunday, where he was credited with 6 disposals and 4 turnovers. Not great reading.
The team mindset in the last quarter was perhaps illustrated by Young’s kick out straight up the guts to Darcy (spoilt and goal to Tex Walker…spewing).
So Henry’s disposals for the last quarter (logged with minutes to go, and the Kayo time log ~ some estimated):
15:07 to go (1:48:01) H marks right on edge of boundary. JOM calls for ball (2x separately), centring kick 20-25m, intercepted in front of JOM.
Risky option, but reflected a daring team mindset (coach instructed?). It was on to a degree, maybe improved with a few extra metres depth on the kick (but then even riskier into the corridor). No goal was scored, as was intercepted by Ryan further down the ground.
14:28 T/G (1:46:30) H roved marking contest, his momentum carried him towards Crows defender, tacked the other way to get around him, but Dawson had kept his feet after the contest and came in on the blindside to tackle him from behind. H attempted handball, but the ball spilt free. HTB turnover
Maybe could've handballed off to someone instead of taking on the defender. Again do you not want him to take the game on heading into the F50? Good work by Dawson to keep his feet in the contest and immediately affect the play.
14:09 T/G (~1:44:00) From a ball-up, H receives handball. His angle is taking him away from the goal slightly, curls a snap which tracking towards the goal. Doedee wrestling with Amiss in the goal square, throws out his leg and flushes it on his calf and saves a certain goal.
Maybe more power on the kick required. Is something he could work on. His momentum was slightly away from goal though and it was on track.
10:00 T/G (~1:57:00) Collects loose ball, hb to Brayshaw, who sums up options and hb back to H who turns and runs forward, motions a kick but to avoid Crow rising up to spoil/block, goes an underground hb to Wilson, who wheels around an opponent, kicks long to Walters.
Was that working through a bit of traffic off halfback. Alls well that ends well.
7:28 T/G (2:01:04) H has hb receive under immediate pressure, with Crows player on his ginger hb out in front of Serong, a little too far out in front and misses target. Serong still in prime position to collect the ball, but it megs’ him as he bends down to pick it up and the chasing Crows are able to effect the turnover.
Missed the target, but mitigated a little by pressure and time of game. Serong could've been cleaner.
0:02 T/G (~2:10:00) H crumbs pack, through traffic and kicks the goal on the siren from about 25-30m.
So there it is. Maybe he could've done better, but vomit-worthy or horrific? Dunno.

You could do that with heaps of players. Can't be bothered doing it now but it'll be interesting to see the picks we parted with to make sure we could bring this guy in. Both the trades we made both before and at the draft and what we ended up matching the bid with
You know who would arguably compete better from Peel, Tyrone Thorne. When he plays for Peel he hardly stands out as someone worth a midseason draft pick let alone a b22 spot

Are those two seperate measurements? He's 5'6". Stop trolling Alfonz

5 feet 6 inches. That's 66 inches. That's short . Ask ChatGPT if you don't believe me

Still defending Henry.

We must have different views of where Henry is at. If he fails this year I think it’s delist material. No one will pick him up.You could do that with heaps of players.
The fact is Carlton bid on him at 9. After discount that equates to 14. Most rated him around 14-18. Any bids before that range we should have passed. He is projecting well outside first round. We should have passed at 9 - the blues played us, knowing we were going to take him. For example bid at 15 equates to pick 21. Best thing about passing would have been (aside from keeping a couple of 2nd round picks for 2019/2020) that Carlton’s plans would have ruined.
Hopefully he can return to playing regular games like the St Kilda one. If not I reckon he’ll be traded for a third round pick or player swap.
Believe it or not, I think they will be much better when Weightman is back in the team.I reckon Alfonz thinks the Dogs are too small when they play all of Darcy, Lobb, Naughton and JUH
WAFL player at the momentI'm still uncertain what type of player Henry projects to be?
Accumulator, distributor, link up player, finisher into the F50, aerobic beast...I've got my thoughts, but he seems to be a player that divides opinions regarding his best role.
I'd love to know what the development coaches are saying and what he is projected as internally.
Would like to see him thrown in the guts for Peel. Right in the Coalface so he can get his head around distributing the ball quicker. Practice makes perfect.WAFL player at the moment
This is 100% the way I feel, from what I've seen in either WAFL or AFL he just doesn't have any of the tools required at the highest level. If Henry makes it as an AFL footballer it will prove how little I know about the game because I honestly can't see what his attributes are.
He's not tall. He's not strong. He's not quick. He doesn't go hard at the ball - and doesn't appear to win many (or any) one on one contests. He's not a penetrating kick. He doesn't seem to be a great decision maker and also seems to lack awareness.
Have I missed something?

Things will go back to normal once the school holidays end. I'm patient but run along now son.Oh look how surprising, it’s taberners mum coming in for support!
Including Leg day?....It’ll be an interesting watch at Peel to see how he responds , he’s a resource and I’m not sure we have any to waste this year so hopefully he finds a way to maximise his strengths … top end speed and kicking power are pretty fatal weaknesses for a player of his size and type though , not sure you can even improve those very much
