I am not surprised but Hawthorn won 1/2 a game more then us and had 3 players in. That really hurts.

The All Australian team is purely a team based on stats and personal preference of the panel.........no Robertson, Tredrea, Judd......of course Hawthorn players are going to be considered as they possess the ball as much as any team. I have no problem with the choice of Hodge & Everitt, but Croad shouldn't have made the side. Everitt should have been first Ruck or on the bench, not in the FP.

It's a pretty strange team. They even left out the Coleman medalist.
I wasn't expecting any AA players though...

aa selection will not help the club win games in 2006.

Kouta is the only player who could have been remotely considered for AA selection...we finished last and deserve no selections..Hawthorns was a joke..If they had 3 AA selections why did they finish 2nd last..

Kouta would make the over 30's AA team, thats about it.

I see none of the bummers got in either Mr. "Monfries", go talk cr@p on that board. Really, changing your team in your profile doesn't mean you are blue, you should've thought of that earlier when making your username dumb a$$

There is really no one at carlton who was unlucky to miss so I'm not too upset about it. The AA side is losing relevance anyway, just seems to be a good topic for debate rather than a real honour especially when youconsider the players who missed out this year.

Exactly.

AA selections count for bugger-all really. You'd take an even spread of good players over 1 or 2 with good solitary seasons any day.

Hopefully both Carlton and Hawthorn will receive some future AA players come November anyway. :)

Anthony Koutoufidies would be the only carlton player who deserved to be in the AA team from carlton this year, if anyone after him it would be stevo!
