I don't want him at Melbourne. At Fremantle he failed to perform with an excellent team at his disposal, we don't have quite the list that you guys have but we're definitely better than 14th, and so why would we want Cuddles?

IMO he's a poor match day coach, is great with PR and all that but so was ND and I didn't rate him on match day either.

No to Connolly.

Why not Guy McKenn?. He played tough ,hard and fair.Was a champion.
I'd like very much to see a really hard nosed Melbourne team.
Daniher after the 2000 GF loss never instilled the physical toughness and hardness into the team that is required to win the premiership as shown by the 2000 Bombers in the GF.
Maybe Guy McKenna would be able to do it?
Anyway let's prayer whoever we get as coach can take us to the flag.

G'Day I agree he is a Melbourne person through and through. I believe the board have a process in place and trust the best person will get the job. The Rev was good and won a lot of games however we need a person who has a great personality media wise and is a genius game wise. Connely is neither.
