GAME WON'T START TILL MONDAY (NIGHT ACTIONS)
note: if we don't get enough players some roles will be removed.
THIS GAME HAS NEW ROLES. PLEASE READ THE OP CAREFULLY
Basic Rules:
At the beginning of the game each player is given a 'role' at random and in secret by the moderator (tigland and Michaels via PM. Regular villagers don't receive a PM naturally. Those roles belong to 1 of 4 factions: Villager (good), Mafia (evil), Werewolf (evil) and Serial Killer (independent).
The aim of the villagers is to identify and kill all the werewolves, Mafia and witches before the werewolves can kill enough villagers so that (#of wolves or #of mafia or = #of villagers). Only one faction (Evil/Good/Independent) can win.
How are players killed?
Each 'turn' of the game will last 24hrs or so and also represents one 'day' of game time, thus a game will go on for several days before it is concluded. There are two 'phases' to every turn of the game;
Night Phase (8:00pm – 9:00am): When the werewolves secretly decide amongst themselves, via PM communication, which villager (one per night) that they shall slaughter and kill and then each inform the moderator of their vote via PM. Votes for the night phase are to be in no later than 9am.
Day Phase (9:00am – 8:00pm): After the slaughter has been announced, everybody, villagers and werewolves alike, discusses and ultimately votes publicly in the game-thread upon which player (one per day) that they shall lynch and kill. Votes for the day phase are to be in no later than 8pm.
Obviously during the day the villagers will want the group to vote for and lynch a werewolf, whilst the werewolves themselves will want not to be lynched; herein lies the fundamental strategy of the game:
Can the villagers identify the werewolves whilst at the same time convincing the rest of the group that they're not themselves a werewolf? And can the werewolves convince the group that they're not wolves at all and thus avoid being lynched?
Werewolf Etiquette:
There are two main rules which everyone must follow in order for the game to run successfully;
KILLED PLAYERS MUST LEAVE THE GAME
If you are killed at any point during the game then you are no longer allowed to participate although I will allow a farewell post, but that post cannot impact the remainder of the game. Anyone breaking this rule will be banned from the next game.
THERE MUST BE NO PRIVATE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PLAYERS EXCEPT BETWEEN WEREWOLVES and MAFIA
Between non-werewolves and mafia, sending PM's or other forms of private communication concerning the game is not allowed.
Anyone caught sending screen captures of BigFooty of any kind in this thread will be modkilled instantly with no warning.
Anyone caught quoting PMs from the mods will be modkilled without warning.
Missing 2 lynch votes in a row or 3 votes in total will see you mod-killed. Missing 2 night actions (if given a role) will see you mod-killed. You may choose to not use a night action but you must state so in your PM
Anyone found to be breaking the above rules will be banned from the next game, and repeat offences will result in being banned from all future games should there be any; please follow the rules and keep the game legitimate.
For this game we will not be using the Reason for Lynching rule. Vote for anyone for any reason at anytime during the Day Phase.
Voting:
During the Day Phase players must vote for whom to lynch, your vote must be formatted in bold like this: Player Name.
For this game you may not use the No Vote vote option.
Upon the voting deadline (end of day-phase) the votes will be tallied by the moderator and whoever has received the most will be lynched and be out of the game: remember, once killed you cannot take further part; do not reveal your roles to anyone until the game has been concluded.
Any ties in voting will result in both players being lynched.
This game will be looking for 30+ players initially but some roles will be removed if we cannot get to that number. Those roles will be marked with an *.
Thugs (Mafia) 4
David Rhys Jones (Godfather - gets to seer 1 player each night, cannot be killed at night)
Mal Brown (hitman - gets to make 1 kill each night. If godfather dies hitman takes over his role but cannot seer)
Campbell Brown (goon - helps hitman make a kill each night. if killed, the hitman gets 2 kills as retribution for his sons death)
Leigh Matthews (Blackmailer - has the ability to blackmail 1 player each night forcing them to vote for someone. cannot make them vote for themselves.
Win condition: when the number of Mafia members = to number of Village members, serial killer and Werewolves must be dead.
Pests (Wolves) 4
Hayden Ballentine (Alpha Wolf - gets to seer 1 player each night, cannot be killed at night)
Stephen Milne (beta wolf - gets to make 1 kill each night)
Ryan Crowley (werecub - if this player is killed the Wolves get an extra kill at night)
Tony Liberatore Snr (Roleblocker - can block 1 role per night. can’t block the same person in consecutive nights)
Win condition: when the number of Werewolves members = to number of Villages members, Serial Killer and Mafia must be dead.
Tony Lockett (Serial Killer) - gets to make 1 kill each night. cannot be killed at night. Has 1 chance to draft another player who will becomes a thief and works with the Serial Killer.
Note: The Serial Killer isn’t obligated to draft someone.
Brent Harvey (Thief) – The Thief (if drafted) can steal a vote from 1 player each day and place it on another player. The Thief and the Serial Killer are the only two people who will know who the vote is stolen from and given to. The Thief must nominate the two players before the daily deadline is called.
Note: The Thief CAN be killed at night. If the draft takes place both the SK and the Thief will die if one of them are killed.
Win condition: Must reach the final 4 regardless of who is still alive. Same condition applies if the Thief role is activated.

The flogs are all in a chat together. Each night they need to make a decision heads or tails. If they make the right decision they will be able to protect 1 person in the night phase.
If they make the wrong decision they must nominate which of them will have an automatic 2 votes against their name for the following day phase (no one else will know who it is but the flogs)
Simon Black (Detective) - Gets to seer 1 player each night to find out their role
Lenny Hayes (Doctor) - Gets to protect 1 player each night
Michael Voss (Vigilante) - Gets to make 1 kill for the village each night. Ultimate team player.
Cameron Ling (Telepath) - Gets to pick 1 player to have a private PM with each day
Matthew Richardson (Locksmith) - The Locksmith has possession of a safe which contains some valuable items. To unlock the safe the Locksmith must guess the 4 digit combination. He has 2 guesses per night phase. Each night phase the next number in the combination will be revealed.
Once the safe is open he will have 3 items to pick from:
- A container with 3 bottles of poison. The locksmith can poison 2 other players, but has to consume the 3rd bottle himself.
- A Laptop with hacking software. The locksmith can hack into the Mafia or Wolves chat from the previous day and read everything that has been said (names of people posting will be replaced with their role, but any names mentioned in the chat itself will remain). can only use this once.
- A magical grenade which can be armed during the night phase. if the player is targeted while the grenade is armed both players will die (this overrides not being able to be killed at night perk). note: if a group i.e mafia kill the locksmith while the grenade is armed, the highest ranking member in the group will be killed.
