WA cricket certainly needs his talent right now.....good luck to the youngsterWill Malajczuk (CL) has indeed made the right decision to choose Cricket over Claremont.
We’ve just won 3 of the last 4 shields, 3 of the last 4 ODI cups and our 6th Big Bash title what more do you want?WA cricket certainly needs his talent right now.....good luck to the youngster
You do know WA are heading towards winning back to back shield spoons. TBH could easily be a 3rd this time next year, if things don't change. We’ve just won 3 of the last 4 shields, 3 of the last 4 ODI cups and our 6th Big Bash title what more do you want?
There’s a kid called Angus Abbonizio for the 2027 draft who is also talented across multiple sports.

If someone offered our performance over the last 5 years including back to back spoons I would take it in a heartbeat. You do know WA are heading towards winning back to back shield spoons. TBH could easily be a 3rd this time next year, if things don't change.
I can't confirm this from any reliable source but I've been told that Angus Abbonizio has chosen footy? He has been allocated jumper #23 for Subiaco colts. But who knows! We’ve just won 3 of the last 4 shields, 3 of the last 4 ODI cups and our 6th Big Bash title what more do you want?

Had heard the same coming out of Hale.I can't confirm this from any reliable source but I've been told that Angus Abbonizio has chosen footy? He has been allocated jumper #23 for Subiaco colts. But who knows!
Might not end with back to back spoons though.....with the current squad, WA could easily win a hat trick of spoons....I admire your confidence, though it might be a bit misguided, especially if you think WA's current cricket squad is going to see a return to the land of milk & honey anytime soon.If someone offered our performance over the last 5 years including back to back spoons I would take it in a heartbeat.
Very comfortable where WA cricket is at, where WA football is at is more of a concern.
Definitely a win for the Subi footy club....and the WA U/18's over the next few years.I can't confirm this from any reliable source but I've been told that Angus Abbonizio has chosen footy? He has been allocated jumper #23 for Subiaco colts. But who knows!
Heath Mellody of Claremont might not look much at first view and there isn't much of him in terms of weight either but he has clean one touch skills that separate the good from the very good.
He also has tremendous running capacity on the outside and a good set of wheels.
A little bit of extra bulk might help him get some inside mid time in 2026.
He's also the son of triple Sharks F&B winner Martin.......which will disappoint loyal East Fremantle fans who might have liked him playing at Moss Street.
One to watch.

games is at 9:30am tomorrow morning Joondalup ArenaHeard a whisper that State u18 intra club scratchy will be at Joondalup 28th Feb
He’s definitely given over cricket for footy and from a trusted source he’s a much better footballer although out for now through injury. We’ve just won 3 of the last 4 shields, 3 of the last 4 ODI cups and our 6th Big Bash title what more do you want?

Who were the standouts for the game?games is at 9:30am tomorrow morning Joondalup Arena
Melody was very good and a few others where good.Who were the standouts for the game?
Err, thanks. Anyone care to elaborate on 'a few others'....Melody was very good and a few others where good.
I was there & it’s a hard one to evaluate because no one really dominated the 4 quarters. I’d say Leo Steed was the BOG but if you want my biased SF view without people attacking me, I can give it.Err, thanks. Anyone care to elaborate on 'a few others'....
Fairly important trial, I would have thought they'd be some eyes on this and a bit more info?
Yes, let's hear it.I was there & it’s a hard one to evaluate because no one really dominated the 4 quarters. I’d say Leo Steed was the BOG but if you want my biased SF view without people attacking me, I can give it.
Yes, let's hear it.
Ok let's go. Firstly who was missing or on managed minutes:Yes, let's hear it.
Brilliant stuff mate. Much appreciated.Ok let's go. Firstly who was missing or on managed minutes:
Now the SF boys - Robbo was very good in the first half but dropped off in the second. Heath Wilson was like a glove & didn't give much away. He copped a hit in the snoz in the 3rd quarter & with him & Kenh off the ground it was no coincidence that the black team scored heavily. Byron Foster was very good at CHB & looks like the summer program has fixed his running & seems to have bulked up.
- Taj Allan - shin
- Angus Abbonizio - Groin
- Xaiver Little - AFL Indigenous camp in Melbourne
- Seb Royle - Shin Stress Fracture
- Cooper Ramsay- Foot Stress Fracture
- Cam Maynard - Minor MCL
- Xavier Daniel - Managed
- Axel Walsh - Knee
- Robby Farmer , Elijah Williams and Garrison Kenh - managed minutes.
Now the rest - Firstly I think all of the boys played well & there was noone that disappointed. The conditions were tricky with a pretty strong breeze that probably didn't help the KPF's. Skills were a bit off but that is expected this time of the year.
BOG - Leo Steed, solid first half but really dominated the 2nd.
Forwards - Pretty quiet really but Mrs O's boy looked good & I really hate to say it but I'm a big fan of Artermis & think he may play forward this year as an underager.
Mids - All serviceable but no real standouts.
Rucks - Was really surprised with Bol (I didn't rate last year) & thought he halved the contest with Benji. Benji did show him up around the ground with his fitness & agility though. Harvey SG was well held forward but looked very good around the ground when rucking.
Defenders - Foster very good & looks suited to new role. I really liked Tomasini but he needs a bit of improvement on his disposal (He will be one to watch next year). Tom Brown played very well as an undersized defender again.
Let me know if this was enough & hopefully I didn't upset anyone.
Yes he did very impressive stuff & I liked him. Just faded in & out a bit. As I mentioned, all the guys showed some really good moments but not for 4 quarters.Did you notice the speedy Sri Lankan son of the test cricketer - Kyan Perera?
I he’ll be ok. I hear R4 returnGee Cooper Ramsay can't take a trick of late.....hopefully his foot injury isn't another season ending one for the young fella.
Watched this young lad at the U19 ODI world cup ~ a month ago. Elite cricket talent. I can't imagine he could have been a more likely footy prospect. His power and clean hitting are incredible, though needs to tighten up his defensive technique if he's going to play the longer formats. Will Malajczuk (CL) has indeed made the right decision to choose Cricket over Claremont.
