It's back again for 2013! The award for the best Eagle of the season, as voted by you - the knowledgeable and passionate posters of BigFooty.

Last season's surprise winner, Daniel Kerr, has started behind the eight-ball this year due to injury but showed his class in his first hitout of the season. Can he go back-to-back?
 
Round 1 - Fremantle v West Coast @ Subiaco

West Coast led at halftime, but had a horror third quarter and Fremantle increased thei lead in the last to run out comfortable 28 point winners.

Despite limited supply, full-forward Josh Kennedy put in a huge effort with 19 possessions (14 contested) and 8 marks (5 contested) and wins the Trent Carroll Medal as best-afield.
 
Round 2 - West Coast v Hawthorn @ Subiaco

Hawthorn jumped out to an early break and, although West Coast narrowed the margin in the second half, they were overrun in the late stages to eventually go down by 50 points on a disappointing day.

Ever-improving midfielder Chris Masten toiled hard for 33 possessions and is awarded the Richard Taylor Medal as West Coast's best on the day, just pipping Josh Kennedy.

JK is playing like an absolute beast at the moment.. keep it up!

Especially when you consider how little the ball got inside our forward 50 in those first two games.

After tallying up round 3, POTY is shaping up as a two-horse race at the moment. Though at this stage lst year Scooter was out to what seemed to be an unassailable lead...
 
Should we really release the winners of each week. This off season was pretty empty for material. We might have more fun releasing this info during the break....

Other than that JK is a ****ing force. Is today the day he finally absolutely destroys Carlton?

Round 3 - Melbourne v West Coast @ MCG

After two and a half concerning games, everything finally clicked for West Coast in the second half against the Dees, as they piled on 17 goals to 4 to coast away to a 94-point win.

Round 4 - West Coast v Carlton @ Subiaco

A horribly inaccurate West Coast gave up the lead in the second quarter and couldn't get it back, going down by 24 points in an altogether forgettable game.

Round 5 - Port Adelaide v West Coast @ AAMI Stadium

West Coast shot away to a big lead, and were up by as much as 41 points before falling in a giant hole. Port ran them down and won by 5.

Round 6 - West Coast v Western Bulldogs @ Subiaco

West Coast skipped away early and increased their lead at every change to overrun the Dogs by a solid 70 points.
