WA is the West Coast of the country and they're looking for a name.

Why just limit yourself to being a suburban club when you can involve the whole state and gel through state pride........... and of course success. Without success there's......... well you freo fans would know better than me where that leads.

Look at the size of the supporter base that instantly felt involved when the team was named. That's a very high percentage of the state's population that has an instant connection with the club. It was a masterstroke!!! Compared to one aligning with one suburb, and a bad one at that.

All this crap about "...where is West Coast?' is just small mindedness not being able to see the bigger picture.

Anyway, that's my 2 bob's worth. I'm off to the races to watch my mates horse get done by another 5 or so lengths and throw away another $20 backing the bloody thing.
